Determine what you ACTUALLY want as the more specific your goals, the easier it is to track your progress.

Team up with a friend? It’s easy to get bored with your fitness regimen so switching things up can help keep you motivated.

Some people need external accountability – like a trainer or a workout buddy. Some people need competition – like a race of beating a personal best. Some people want tangible rewards – like a vacation or a new pair of shoes. Some people want to share their progress and get public validation from others. No type of motivation is better than another! You just need to find something that works for you.
Break down your goal into as many steps as you can and spread it across weeks and months. Then pick the smallest step and begin right now. It might be reading an article about the benefits of weight training or following a clean eating Instagram account. Start small and start now.
Fitness goals are well worth your effort. It’s all about finding the right goal for you, identifying ways to achieve that goal and incorporating those small steps into your daily routine.
